general. first, respect. it's a key word, because hey, treat people the way you want to be treated. as liz would say, 'don't be a douche'. it ain't nice. admins will respect you so long as you respect them; any violation of this rule will be taken seriously with consequences to follow. second, keep things in character where they belong; IN CHARACTER. just because your character's in a fight with someone doesn't mean you are too. no god moding. it's so annoying. really. and you don't control my character, so don't try to. when you're plotting, keep in mind that this site is in fact rated pg-13. it's against proboards TOS to go any higher. sorry kids, but if you wanna be a part of proboards, you need to abide by their rules. please, keep the c-box to just chatting. no fighting (serious fighting of course), no douche bagging. you know. the norm.

registering and creating your character. this site is proboards. that means register in all lowercase. however, paigels doesn't like to see names in all lowercase all the time, so please change your character's name, which should promptly be made your display name (admin's won't do it for ya babes!), to ALL CAPITALS. just to let you know, any and all accounts made and not logged into with no indication of why (without posts and such to claim/apply) will be deleted after four days. this is to ensure the fairness to all potential members. please, don't join, make a character with a famous face, post one thing, then ditch. it's a waste of time, and your account will be deleted if no rp posts are made. after your application has been accepted, and only after, may you claim your face, band position, and such permanently. anything before will be disregarded and deleted. (that doesn't include an reservations being made.)

applying. there's not too much to say here. first, i just want to say that when you apply, please refrain from using disney faces, faces of people from deviant art, and anime characters. these will be denied. why? well, the jonas brothers, ichigo, and other miscellaneous faces don't seem to really fit in to the WE ALL ROLL ALONG vibe. we're looking more for models/musicians, and maybe some actors depending on if they seem to fit the picture of this tour site or not. in fact, here's a list of faces that will be acceptable, denied, or a little sketchy that may be on your mind (obviously band members and band crew faces and/or friends of bands are accepted. the majority of the site are bands.) :

staff have the right to deny/pend an application that goes against this rule. however, feel free to pick anyone you'd like that isn't in one of the above characters. we know some people are hard to find pictures of, but we've found that most people can be resourceful. and lookie here, CAUTION TO THE WIND is everyone's friend these days! as well as A THOUSAND FIREFLIES. there's all kinds of faces there, so take a look and just have fun with your face choice! also keep in mind that the staff likes to keep their application process clean and organized. that being said, please title your application as so: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME. no nicknames in the title please, but you can put them anywhere you want within the contents of your application. if you post part of your application but have to get off the computer for something, please post the app in our handy dandy NOT DONE section. if you're done and are just waiting for acceptance/feedback, post in the PENDING section. simple as that!

posting. we're a literate site. that's just that. if you can't write, you probably don't belong here because our word count is three hundred words. yes, three hundred. staff members post to that extent, and they expect other members on the site to do so also. it's really not that big of a stretch that we're asking; we've seen sites with the likes of eight hundred word counts. keep in mind that staff members will likely be keeping track of how many words are in posts. we do have lives though, so we won't be like...stalking your threads for the most part. being that we like to look pretty because pretty equals more members for everyone to plot with and such, we do kind of require templates used for posts. they don't necessarily have to be fancy templates and whatnot, but a template nonetheless. they're not hard to make honestly, but also caution (click the link above) and a thousand fireflies (click the link above) have plenty of templates for you to choose from! however, this is just a requirement for in character posts! out of character posts can be as short or long as you like with as little or as much coding as pleases you!

graphics. please keep your graphics moderately sized. no signatures bigger than 600 in height or 500 in width. we don't want obnoxiously large graphics, now do we? also, icons can be pretty much as large as you want, but staff don't recommend anything over 200x300. like the signatures, stretching the boards or your mini profile with an icon is annoying, and staff reserve the right to fix and/or take down any graphic that is too large.

finally, 'the extra' in the application is where you pick out your favorite band, song, artist, or any of the aforementioned categories and place your answer into that colorful little spot! honestly, put whatever the fuck you want there :)[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
